Choroscape Through My Eyes

It's hard to explain what it feels like to stand on stage with people you've laughed with, worked hard with, and poured your voice and soul out with for months. But during our concert, I felt it all—joy, pride, gratitude—and I wish I could bottle it up.
This wasn't just a performance. It was a celebration of connection. Every note we sang carried hours of dedication, shared laughter, tired evenings, and little backstage moments that made it all worth it.
One of those moments? When Valentino sang his solo, and a bunch of us gathered at the hall door, pressing close to catch a glimpse and hear him sing. That's the kind of love and support this choir is built on.
To me, this concert was one of the most challenging to date. We sang different languages like Chinese, French, Japanese… even TāReKiṭā, which came with coordinated hand gestures that kept us on our fingers—I mean toes! And Libertango was no easy feat either. But somehow, through it all, we came together and made it work with heart, with grit, and with a lot of laughter in between.
I'm so proud of my fellow choristers. Your voices, your energy, your heart—it's an absolute honor to stand beside you. And to our incredible conductor and artistic director Ms. Tan Jin Yin, thank you for shaping chaos into harmony, and always leading with such grace and fire despite your packed schedule.
As we sang our encore song Don't Worry, Be Happy, I couldn't help but smile. It felt like the perfect reminder to keep singing no matter what life throws your way.
I'm already looking forward to the next time we get to create something beautiful together.
